We're sorry to see you go. This page explains how to delete your CoHabby account and what happens to your data when you do.
Account deletion is permanent and cannot be undone. All your profile data, messages, and matches will be permanently removed.
How to Delete Your Account
You can delete your account directly in the CoHabby app:
Open Settings
Tap the profile icon, then tap the settings gear in the top right corner.
Go to Account Settings
Scroll down and tap "Account" or "Account Settings".
Delete Account
Tap "Delete Account" and confirm your decision. You may be asked to re-enter your password.
Confirmation
Your account will be permanently deleted within 30 days.
Request Deletion via Email
If you cannot access the app or prefer to request deletion by email, contact us with your account email address:
Send your deletion request to:
contact@cohabby.comPlease include "Account Deletion Request" in your subject line and send from the email address associated with your CoHabby account. We will process your request within 7 business days.
What Data Is Deleted
When you delete your account, the following data is permanently removed:

| Purchase history | Retained for legal/tax purposes (anonymized) |
Data Retention Period
After you request deletion:
- Your profile is immediately hidden from other users
- All personal data is permanently deleted within 30 days
- Anonymized transaction records may be retained for up to 7 years for legal compliance
- Backups containing your data are purged within 90 days
Active Subscriptions
If you have an active listing subscription, deleting your account will:
- Cancel your subscription at the end of the current billing period
- Remove your listings immediately
- Not provide a refund for unused time
To avoid future charges, cancel your subscription through the App Store or Google Play before deleting your account.
