The profile and quizzes collect answered signals for CoHabby's versioned compatibility heuristic. Here is the four-step flow:
1. Sign Up Free
Create a CoHabby account on web, iOS, or Android. There's no payment for seekers and no credit card required. A phone or email is all you need.
2. Answer Lifestyle Questions
Profile and quiz questions supply personality, lifestyle, interest, housing, professional, and preference signals.
3. See Synergy Scores
Eligible profiles show a 0–100 Synergy Score only when both people have enough valid answers. The category breakdown summarizes stated alignment and differences to discuss.
4. Message High-Synergy Matches
Messaging is free for seekers. All chat stays in-app until you choose to share contact info. Start with people whose answered signals show stronger stated alignment.
What the Synergy Score Measures
Your Synergy Score is the result of a v3 compatibility heuristic using up to 31 valid profile and quiz signals across six weighted categories. It is shown only when both people meet the minimum data requirement.
Personality — 22%
Your MBTI result contributes a personality signal. This category does not directly measure communication or conflict behavior.
Lifestyle — 22%
Answered daily-life signals such as sleep, cleanliness, guests, pets, smoking, drinking, social-at-home, diet, and work-from-home habits.
Shared interests — 18%
Interests plus answered music, movie, book, and travel preferences. Shared interests can offer easy conversation starters; they do not guarantee lower friction.
Housing — 18%
Answered location, budget, property-type, move-in, and housing-quiz signals. This category summarizes whether stated housing plans line up.
Professional alignment — 10%
Current industry and career-level answers. Remote-work rhythm is represented elsewhere only when the relevant lifestyle question is answered.
Preference match — 10%
Answered noise, space, room-sharing, and amenity preferences. Treat hard dealbreakers as questions to confirm directly.
